Hi, I’m Chantell

I'm a mom, a wife, a business owner, a dreamer, and someone who’s been through the ups and downs of trying to build a successful business in a competitive world with limited resources.


I know firsthand what it’s like to feel stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to move forward.


That’s why I started this blog—to help people like me navigate the challenges of running a business both online and offline, and to cut through the noise of marketing strategies that often feel confusing or expensive.


My mission is to share what I’ve learned so you can grow your business without breaking the bank.

My Journey

I’ve been a hairdresser my entire career. After working for various employers, and spending 11 years at my last job, I decided to take the leap and open my own little salon from home. The idea of working for myself and keeping all the money I earned for my hard work was appealing, but the best part was having the opportunity to be there for my kids.


Even though I had a substantial client base that could follow me, I knew not all of them would. While I made more money than I did working for a boss, it still wasn’t enough. I had to figure out how to get more clients. However, without any marketing experience, I struggled to grow my client base successfully.


Marketing didn’t come easy to me. I spent years trying different approaches, often feeling discouraged by expensive tools and methods that promised results but left me frustrated. I even tried all the free ways to make some extra money online, but nothing seemed to work.


It wasn’t until I realized that I needed to invest in myself by taking an online course in digital marketing. I chose a course that came with resale rights, hoping it could be an additional way to earn income online. Unfortunately, the course was expensive, and I was disappointed with its quality. I didn’t feel it was worth the money, but I did learn valuable lessons. The course mainly focused on how to resell it using social media and free tools, promising to help people run an online business without monthly costs.


That’s when I decided to create this blog. Not everyone can afford to purchase a course to learn these skills, and I want to share what I’ve learned to help others who, like me, couldn’t find help without a hefty price tag.

My goal with this blog is simple: to share everything I’ve learned about marketing on a budget. I want to provide real, actionable advice that you can implement without needing a huge budget or a marketing degree.
